QuickPic 4.6.0.1143
Stylish interface with many features
QuickPic sports a simple and stylish user interface, optimized for both smartphones and tablets. You can choose from several color themes, though I found the default, dark one to be the most pleasing to the eye.
On the main screen you can see all the folders containing images as a stack, grid or list. Long press a folder and you can change its cover. A sliding menu on the left part of the screen offers access to other options, including a different visualization mode called Moments. This mode allows you to browse your photos grouped by the time and location they were taken.
When entering a folder, the pictures inside will be displayed in a grid or list. One tap on an image will show it in full screen, switching to the next picture being done by swiping on the screen. If you want to cycle through all the pics in a folder automatically, you can start a slideshow. There are several transition animations you can choose from and, in case you cannot decide, a random option is also present.
Adjustments for your photos and option to save them in cloud
When it comes to performance, despite its small size, QuickPic is lightning fast. Upon opening, it takes the app very little time to scan your folders for pictures. For even quicker results, you can exclude folders that are unlikely to contain any images from the default search locations.
QuickPic comes with a built-in file browser that makes it easy to manage your images. A long tap on an image starts the multi-selection mode, after which you can copy, move, rename, share or delete selected pictures. And, if you need to make basic adjustments to your photos, there is also a built-in editor that allows you to rotate, crop and resize images.
Store photos in the cloud
If you have photos stored on cloud drives, QuickPic can help you as well. From the sliding menu on the left you can add your online storage services of choice, including Dropbox, Flickr, Google Drive, Picasa and others.
QuickPic also lets users transfer pictures between two devices via WiFi. And that's not all, you can also browse interesting pics posted by other people on popular photo sharing services like 500px and Flickr. In addition to that, the app lets you secure pictures by using patterns or a PIN code. You can also have it automatically backup photos to specified cloud with WiFi.
