When you launch it, the app automatically scans your device and displays a list of applications that run in the background, together with the amount of available memory and the option to kill all apps at once. Super Task Killer clearly displays how many applications were closed and how much memory was freed.
It's important to close apps that run in the background because they can potentially drain your device from all its power resources. It's hard to say if the app is actually efficient, considering that many applications restart just seconds after they were killed and it's quite difficult to find an app that keeps them closed.
Neat animation
The app comes with a few settings that can be done. You can set it to start automatically when you restart your phone or show an icon in the notification bar. In addition, you can set an auto-kill frequency of up to six hours and you have Super Task Killer also show third-party apps, as an option of filtering all the applications scanned on your phone.
Super Task Killer stands out from other apps, because of its neat animation for the home screen. It portrays a rocket man and using your finger you must help him get in the rocket in order to free your memory. It's quite entertaining, but can be annoying as the icon appears on every screen and even in the menu. Still, you can disable it easily from the menu.
