SideControl is a neat application that does just that, making your job easier and your phone more user-friendly as it comes with many customization features and quite a lot of styles to choose from.
Lightweight and sleek interface with plenty of tools at hand
We've tested our fair share of sidebar apps and may conclude that although they're not complicated applications, they usually have many features and would need a tutorial.
SideControl is an easy-to-use app but new users would still need some guidance, that's why developers offer them a video explaining how to use the app and a tutorial with plenty of tips to get them started.
The app has a nicely structured menu. The layout has thumbnails with sections that you can access and suggestions of other apps to help you customize your phone and change its whole appearance.
Customize the app to your liking
Before you can actually enjoy the app, you'll need to make some customization changes to it. Users have the option of choosing the touch area. Choose from the left, right and bottom areas.
You can select the type of icon you'd like the app to display in the selected area. You can select from lines, waves or have the icon be transparent all together. In addition, users can adjust the indicator opacity or change the scale type for the indicator.
You can also select the length of the long slide and decide how much of the screen it will take. The app comes with several styles for the sidebar as well as for the gridview. These themes are preset and come with their own set of unique settings.
Get access to all of your apps
The nice thing about this app is that it lets you assign gestures to functions on your phone. Users must select the apps that they'd like to be featured on the sidebar.
You can create sidebars with different categories like games, tools and launch them with a gesture. In addition, it lets you kill running apps, open app info and many more options.
You can also sort apps or remove them from the list with a push. The app has even more features and they can be unlocked in the premium version for 2.26$.
