CM Launcher is one of the nicest launchers that we've ever come across, with plenty of customization features and a beautiful design that would totally transform your device and turn it into a thing of beauty.
Beautiful theme with plenty of wallpapers to choose from
CM Launcher is truly a lightweight app with an intuitive layout that doesn't even need a tutorial. Clearly developers focused more on design than making this app highly customizable, since every corner and icon seems to be perfectly shaped to match the design and layout.
It's also intelligently structured with a search bar on top and a menu hidden under the icon on the bottom of the screen. It lets you create multiple screens and add apps to various folders in order to organize your applications. It comes with multiple themes and voice search available.
Customize the app to your liking
Although you can't change the shape and size of icons, nor the screen transition effect, the launcher lets you change the wallpaper and choose from the many provided in the store. They're all large images of various items, all HD and arranged in a few categories.
They're free and you can download them to your phone in seconds, but make sure to check a preview before you do. The search engine can be changed for the bar on top of the screen and you can also add widgets or change the temperature unit for the home screen widget that contains the time and current weather conditions.
Rearrange and manage your apps
The launcher doesn't have an app drawer but instead it arranged all applications installed on your phone into folders depending on their destination. However, it still has some trouble differentiating between certain apps which means that some of them won't be placed into the right folders.
Still, you can rearrange them easily or sort by most used and alphabetical. It also recommends a lot of apps created by the same developer, there's a whole section of them.
The app also has a toolbar in the notification screen, it has toggles for enabling the flashlight, cellular data, WiFi and apps. A separate page contains more toggles for such system settings and for the Clean Master booster.
