Ringtone Maker
Ringtone Maker lets you cut songs in your library and create beautiful ringtones that you can also share with your friends on social networks. It sports a really intuitive interface and it's one of the most popular ringtone makers on Google Play Store. Therefore, it's definitely worth a try.
Functional interface with some features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to get you started and you'll have to discover all the features on your own. Still, it sports a really easy-to-use interface with all features at hand. It doesn't take long to scan your device and retrieve media files that you could turn into ringtones. Before you start creating ringtones, you should adjust settings.
You can assign whichever destination folders you like for your tracks, ringtones, alarms or notifications. You can also record messages and create ringtones from scratch. It also has a feature that forces a scan on your device and retrieves all the audio tracks that you might have stored there.
Start creating ringtones
Simply tap on a track to play and start creating ringtones. The app displays the file type, frequency and length. You can crop the file into multiple sections and select the one that you'd like to keep and set as a contact ringtone. Users can assign the start and end sections and adjust the fade and volume levels.
When you're done, simply tap on cut, change the name of the file and type. Retrieve it from the list of audio tracks on your phone and set it as ringtone, notification or alarm sound. You can also use the search bar to find certain audio tracks on your phone. Files can be shared with friends on social networks.
Some shortcomings
It supports MP3, WAV, AAC/MP4, 3GPP/AMR files. The app is ideal for those who want to cut tracks fast and assign them as ringtones. It makes it easy to create ringtones, but it's missing certain features that some users might want.
The app is quite simplistic and it doesn't have that many tools. It also lacks a tutorial or any kind of instructions for new users. It also can't be used to access music that you might have stored on cloud accounts, and it definitely needs to support more formats.
