RADYO

Listen to all sort of stations form different regions around the world using this radio app
We've come across quite a few radio apps here and noticed that it's quite difficult to find the one that has all the features that users might need and works perfectly at the same time.

Still, there are some alternatives to pick from. RADYO is one of them, it comes with suggestions of radio stations from all over the world, arranged by country and genre. If you don't mind the dated style and a bit of a confusing UI, then you'll really find good use for this app.

Dated interface that really needs an upgrade

The app comes with a really dated interface but it does have some instructions and tips to show users how to use the app and access all of its features. It doesn't need online registration which is quite nice and it offers plenty of features in return.

Still, it has many banner and popup ads that may prove to be quite annoying. All stations are arranged by region, country and then genre. You can also manually search for stations, but suggestions will only be given based on regions that you've previously explored.

Find your favorite station

Aside from browsing for stations, you can also listen to your favorite stations, simply add them to the designated section so you would find them easier. In addition, the app comes with an automated list make up of what you've listened to and it gives users the option to add stations on the list.

You can also record programs that run at the station and view the song history so you can add songs to playlists outside the app. The app also displays the name of the artist and the song currently playing at the station.

More features to pick from

Other than that, it comes with many more features that you can pick from, like the option of checking out the station's Twitter account and posting comments there. You can also check out similar stations, as the app provides you with suggestions and displays the names of the songs currently playing.

The same information is also available in the status bar and you can share songs on social networks. The app comes with a timer and with a 5-band equalizer that you can use. It works even when you minimize the app but it has some stability issues and it may crash at times.
