PlayerPro Music Player 3.1
Sleek interface that comes with multiple skins
You'd expect music players to have an intuitive interface with plenty of features and easy to access tools. While PlayerPro comes with many skins but they have to be download the individually from Google Play Store.
Still, there are many changes you can do to the interface and layout. You can choose from multiple album artwork effects and have the app display artwork embedded in the album or have it download artwork with the album or singer from the internet.
Play all your songs
The player doesn't take long to scan your device for stored media files. It finds songs and videos and then arranges them into albums, artists, genres and playlists. Songs into one category are automatically arranged into a playlist and you can change the order in which they're played.
For improved audio quality you can download the DSP plugin for free from Google Play Store. You can also adjust separate settings for music browsers from any folder or section. The app also connects with Last.fm so you can scrobble songs and have their name displayed on your profile.
Several tools
The app also downloads and displays lyrics and you can even select their source or have it display lyrics embedded in the file. Other than that, the app comes with a 5 band equalizer, filled with plenty of presets and reverbs, so you can create your own profile and save it to the phone.
Other than that, the player comes with lock screen controls and artwork, so you wouldn't have to unlock the phone to skip a song. Shake the phone to instantly change the song automatically. Controls are also available in status bar, together with album artwork. It also has a sleep timer.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is well structured, but lacks the sleek feel of top music players. Still, it has several skins you can download for free. |
Function8
It has plenty of features for a music player but it could use some more comprehensive instructions and some more shortcuts in the player mode. |
Security9
It shouldn't pose any privacy issues, as it doesn't need online registration and doesn't peak into many areas. |
Battery8
Consumption is normal for a music player app, definitely keep the phone plugged in when listening to music for extended periods of time. |
Price9
The free trial lasts for just 10 days and the premium version costs 3.61$, a bit steep. |
Compatibility8
It should work just fine on devices running Android version 2.1 or later. |
It has all the basic features that most music players do and doesn't seem to stand out.
