When you launch the app, you quickly realize that it resembles the website, with all the topics neatly arranged on the left side of the screen, under the 'hamburger' icon. It comes with a search bar but no auto fill suggestions to help you find things faster.
Other than that, it's extremely easy to navigate through articles and topics, watch videos or slideshows, and share interesting content with friends. Still, you will occasionally stumble upon ads to other network releases and products.
Customize your news feed
The app is cleverly designed as to help you filter the news you receive, you can choose from various topics including celebrity stories, technology, fitness, articles on motherhood or cooking. There's no comments section on articles or videos, but there are suggestions of similar stories to check out.
If you wish, you can check out live broadcasting from the Popsugar studio in LA or other videos on beauty and fashion.
Shop for various products
The shopping section comes with various articles on the latest fashion trends and items that you should buy to keep up with the trends. The articles feature plenty of pictures with recommended products as well as prices and department stores that sell them.
In order to shop, you simply need to use the search bar to find items. Discounts are also available for various items, there's the option of sorting products by price, filtering searches by brand, price, etc. You can share anything you like with friends on social networks or receive alerts when certain products go on sale. All products are found on the Shopstyle website by Popsugar.
