Sleek and easy-to-use design
The interface isn't specular but it is practical and intuitive, that's why it doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions. Aside from that, it also doesn't need users to register online with an account in order to use the app.
It launches directly with the top stories from all of its providers and a side-menu gives you access to all of its sections, including to the weather service. However, you can only get weather updates for cities from South Africa.
Browse through all sort of articles
The app makes it easy to navigate and browse through articles, as it features categories in the form of tabs on top of the screen. Simply swipe the screen to change a category or read the next article. You can choose from many topics, including sports, entertainment, business, world news and travel.
The app displays the date and hour when the article was posted and it lets you share them on social networks. It also has a comments section which you can access easily and provide your own take on a certain subject or matter at hand.
Manage providers and access the widget
The side menu lets you access all sort of sections inside the app and manage providers. Each section has its own subcategory and you can access them instantly from this window. It also connects to Olx, SaveMoney or Spree partners.
Users may also get breaking news notifications, adjust font size or have the app only show images if your phone is connected via WiFi. Other than that, there's not much you can do inside the app, it's quite limited compared to other news providers in the sense that it doesn't let you save articles for offline use or create a personalized feed of topics.
