Nice design that would need some improvements
The app is quite simplistic and doesn't come with any customization features nor does it has instructions to show new users how to navigate inside the app. Still, it wouldn't really need any tips or a tutorial since the interface is quite easy-to-use and instructions aren't really needed.
The app also lacks a side menu, but you can access various sections of the app by tapping on the icon from the top of the page. You can make some changes to the app, like adjust font size or image quality, but if you wish pictures to be loaded at high-resolution then you should know that higher resolution images will result in more bandwidth use. Cellular carrier data charges may also apply.

The app is updated once every few minutes so that you will get all the latest stories and breaking news, although it doesn't have a feature for that. Still, it comes with plenty of stories on various topics and you can even share them directly from the app.
The app lets you filters articles by top stories, topics or programs. Some of the categories include U.S. or world news, together with politics, business, science and many more.
Check out stations and listen to your favorite programs
You can also check out programs and other radio broadcasts. There's also a long list of programs that you can listen to, including news, arts&life or music. The audio stream is high quality and the app doesn't freeze although some audio streams end abruptly. If you live in the U.S., you can also directly connect to a station at NPR and listen to the news.
It lets you favorite or locate stations that are the nearest to your location. Moreover, you can create and manage playlists with audio streaming, arrange tracks and skip then from the app. Still, it would need controls in the notification bar and lock screen. A car mode would also be useful.
