Kaspersky Internet Security 11.9.4.1294
Kaspersky Internet Security comes with a highly comprehensive interface and many features to choose from, providing in-depth scans to find malware and apps that don't perform properly.
Nice interface with plenty of features
A sleek UI is a must, especially for antivirus apps as the possibilities are endless when it comes to the use of animation and visual effects. But it seems that developers from Kaspersky were more focused on delivering an app that functions properly than one that comes with a stylish UI.
The interface is a bit boring and it lacks animation that could have made it stand out. It only comes in English, so the app is quite limited regarding this aspect, but it does have many features for users to choose from.
Scan your device for malware
We've gotten used to antivirus apps that perform fast but superficial scans, but Kaspersky doesn't fit into this category. The app takes its time to scan applications installed on your device, but that's only because it performs in-depth scans trying to detect malware and applications performing poorly.
There are three types of scans you can choose from a quick scan of all installed apps, a scan of your entire device and one of selected folders. It displays details of scan time and progress, together with the number of objects scanner and threats detected.
The app automatically moves threats to quarantine, so you can deal with them in your own time. The app comes with a news section, it lets you share items in the event log or news so you can inform friends via social networks so that they can protect their devices.
Filter calls and texts, use the anti-theft feature to locate your phone
The app also comes with the option of filtering calls and text messages. You can block calls and SMS from any number in your contacts list, but the feature may not work properly on all Android versions because of some particularities of the system.
The anti-theft feature requires users to create an account on the developer's website and set a password. It lets them wipe all data from their device remotely. You can also lock and locate the phone if GPS services are on, sound an alarm or take a picture of the person that has your phone.
