Gallery Lock 4.8.1

Hide the most private photos and videos on your phone
Privacy has become an important issue in today's society and it's directly connected to the advance of technology and internet. Considering that many people store all sorts of information on their phones, including private photos and videos, it's only normal that they should install an app that protects their privacy with a password. Gallery Lock is one of such apps.

Tutorial with plenty of instructions

The app comes with a tutorial featuring plenty of instructions on how to use the app to the fullest. There's also a video tutorial that you check and a user manual. In addition to that, users are provided with all sorts of tips when navigating in the app.

It has images to make it easier for you to get the hang of it after which it opens the lock for you to type in the code. The app comes with annoying blinking banner ads that can be removed if you upgrade to a paid version for 3.88$.

Lock pictures and videos on your phone

Gallery Lock is really easy to use, it comes with three folders in which you can add content. You also the have the option of creating how many folders you wish. The app doesn't take long to scan your phone for media files, but it may take a bit more to add large files. Still, you have the option of viewing photos in a gallery and even have songs playing in the background while you scroll.

In addition, you can arrange files into lists or grids. Other than that there are many ways to sort content or filter it to make it easier to view. The app also gives you access to the phone's camera so you can take pictures or shoot videos which would be automatically added to the app's gallery.

Set up a password and upload content to the cloud

There are many settings that you can make to the app, from changing the background image to setting up passcodes. The app can also provide you with hints if you forget your password and enter a recovery email. Patterns can also be used to lock images. There's also the option of having the app display a fake pop-up message when running the app.

Gallery Lock also comes with a watchdog feature which if someone enters the password incorrectly 3 times in a row, the app would take a picture of that person. The app links with Google Drive and Dropbox to provide you with the option of saving files to the cloud.
