G Cloud Backup 5.1.52
G Cloud Backup is one such app that comes with 2 GB of space and many other features. It takes only a few seconds to set up an account but the app needs more time for uploading data.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
An intuitive interface is quite important, especially for apps that offer cloud services because they need to provide users with features at hand without getting them confused.
G Cloud Backup comes with some instructions, mainly onscreen tips that show you how to filter information and upload data to the cloud. It comes with a side menu and some settings that can be made to the app.
You can have it automatically upload data only on WiFi and allow the app to automatically remove files that have been uploaded to the cloud, giving you space to do more. The app backs up every version of a file.
Upload files to the cloud
The app calls files memories, mainly because it lets you view uploaded pictures and videos in a calendar, giving you a general view of when you created the memories.
However, this is just the timeline view and you have all files displayed in a list in the gallery view. The app only opens pictures, videos are played using a media player that's installed on your phone.
You can upload all sorts of data including contacts, call log, messages, photos, videos, music, documents, calendar, system setting and browser data. The dashboard section shows you how much data you've used, the number of uploaded files and how to earn more space.
Locate your phone
Simply sign in to your account on the developer's website and you'll get access to a feature that helps you locate your phone in case of loss of theft. It shows you phone's last known location on a map with pretty good accuracy.
Users can earn up to 10 GB for free or they can purchase unlimited space for just 3.99$ per month. In addition, G Cloud Backup lets you switch phones easily and still have your information as it detects that you're using a new phone and will more all your memories and contacts to the new one.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
We're loving the interface, as it is quite easy-to-use and comes with instructions for new users. |
Function9
The app comes with a surprising number of features and it's also very lightweight. It basically has everything you need for saving your data. |
Security7
It needs many permissions from your phone and unfortunately there's no 100% secure cloud service, so be careful with the data that you save. |
Battery5
It takes up quite a lot of resources, especially if you enable automatic upload so keep an eye on resources. |
Price8
The app comes with banner ads and only 2 GB of free space, if you need more you'll have to pay up to 3.99$ per month for unlimited space. |
Compatibility8
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this app. |
A really nice app that lets you backup lots of information from your device and finds your phone in case of loss or theft.
