File Explorer Pro 1.0
Sleek design with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to show users how to access features inside the app easily. Still, the UI is quite intuitive with a layout that makes it easy to manage files and organize them into various folders and directories.
However, the UI seems a bit dated with only a dark background and it doesn't have any options for customizing it. In fact the app lacks a settings menu all together, it doesn't use material design but it does have an overflow icon with options and the path to each folder is displayed on top of the screen.
Manage your files easily
You can switch from grid to list view if it's easier to display items. The app lets you explore absolutely any part of your phone, including the SD card. You can open files with various applications, rename them, copy items to other locations, cut or delete.
It lets users send files and share them with friends on social networks. Items can also be bookmarked, so that you can access them easily. Users can also compress files, but the app doesn't support batch selection which is quite inconvenient. It means that you would have to select each item individually in order to move it to another location.
More features
A toolbar on the bottom of the screen is filled with all sort of shortcuts to features. You can view item properties, email files or add gestures to open them. It also lets you backup and manage all phone applications process, create duplicate files and play videos inside the app.
It displays all processes currently running on your phone, lets you launch apps, kill or uninstall them. It also has a search bar for finding items faster by simply typing in a key word.
The app is nice but it's missing some essential features, like batch selection and the option to create new folders. In addition, it would have been nice if it came with shortcuts to the media gallery and pictures.
