Eurosport is well-known for its accurate and timely reporting of sports news. It's one of the top TV stations in Europe and worldwide. Now, with the Eurosport player application, you can check out the latest videos and live TV broadcasting directly on your phone. The app comes with many features, however they're unlocked only if you subscribe.

GUI that only functions in landscape mode

The user-interface is actually simple, but well optimized. It features three sections, including live TV, videos and TV schedule, per days of the current week. GUI only functions in landscape
mode, which may be inconvenient for those watching on their tablets. In addition, there are few settings for customizing the interface. The quality of the video can't be adjusted, not even volume levels, at least not in the free version.

You can use the player to watch news bulletins, shows and interviews aired on the official TV channel, check out the TV schedule of all Eurosport stations on your country, for the current day and upcoming week. However, the free version only displays upcoming events. Access to actual live streaming is granted only if you subscribe for 4,99$ per month.

Large gallery of videos

In addition, the app features access to a large gallery of videos, which can be filtered by the type of sport they cover. Other than that, there's not much more you can do with the app. There are no personalization settings and videos of a few sports are provided. Many more features can be unlocked if you subscribe and the nagging message is constantly displayed. In addition, it would have been helpful if the developers had provided a free trial period for new users.
