Droid Optimizer 1.0.9
Droid Optimizer has all that it needs to be a good task killer and optimizer app with lots of features to choose from. However, you can never know for sure if such apps are truly efficient unless you test them for long periods of time.
Sleek interface that resembles that of many optimizer apps
It seems that developers weren't too inspired when they designed the app's interface. The interface doesn't come with any extra themes or customization features, nor does it have a help section with further instructions or tips.
It resembles that of many other task killers that we've come across which isn't necessarily a bad thing considering that Droid Optimizer doesn't come with a tutorial and new users would get easily accustomed to the app especially if they've used other similar ones before.
Optimize your phone and kill running tasks
All sections of the app are arranged into thumbnails on the home screen, tap on the battery icon on the top right corner to check out battery info, see whether the phone is charging when you plug it in, view the temperature or check out app battery usage in system settings.
You can release RAM memory if you tap on the designated icon, Droid Optimizer displays the apps that are currently working and kills them instantly. You can also create a whitelist for apps that you would like to keep running.
The app can also be used to clean up junk files, delete old apks or other files from your device. Moreover, you can have it clear cache or browser history from your phone.
Schedule scans and get info on intrusive apps
It also comes with a scheduler feature that automatically cleans up your device between certain intervals of time. There's also the option of enabling scheduler tasks and set the app to disable Wi-Fi and mobile networks when you're at work or sleeping.
The privacy advisor shows you the most intrusive apps on your device and lets you uninstall them. More than that, it comes with a 1-tap widget for your home screen, which instantly cleans your phone and releases memory. Use the app manager feature to sort applications installed on your phone and remove the ones that you haven't used in a while.
