Diaro 3.8.8
Diaro is a diary app that comes with all sorts of features, including the one for creating notes or journal entries. It's not as complex as some of the other notebook apps we've tested so far, but it does have plenty of features and an intuitive interface.
Sleek interface with plenty of features
The UI comes with some tips and instructions, in the form of a distinct note on the home page. It has a side menu that gives you access to different sections of the app and the calendar. Users also have the option of customizing the interface by changing the app language, the text size or UI color.
They can also sign in to the network with their Diaro or Google account and use their profile picture in the side menu. There's a search bar you can use to find notes faster and a 'hamburger' icon with options and filters for your entries.
Create notes instantly
The app lets you create notes fast, simply by tapping one icon on the home page. You can change the day of the calendar, add a title and text to the note and assign it in a folder of your choice. The app counts the number of words you've written in the entry.
You can also select tags for your notes or set a location for the entries. Take and insert pictures to your notes or add the time so you'd know when you took them. Users also have the option of attaching multiple files to notes they've created. However, they can't set reminders or alerts.
Upgrade to premium for more features
The app does come with a whole array of tools and features you can use, but if you're looking for more you can sign in with an account. You'll get cloud backup and restore so you can use your Dropbox account to backup data and restore on other devices, the option of setting a profile picture to your account or to purchase the pro version.
The premium version lets you export your entries to PDF and print them using Diaro Online. Users also get the option of securing their notes by setting up a PIN lock.
