Intuitive UI in the same Android layout
The app doesn't come with any instructions of use but has an intuitive UI and some features to choose from. The menu on the left side of the screen is filled with all the sections found on the original website. It makes it easy to navigate and switch to videos when you're tired of reading articles.
There's also a favorites section with all the content you've saved for later and users can also log in to their accounts, but that feature has trouble working in the current version. In addition, in order to create an account you must use the website, as the app doesn't have a registration section.
Browse through various funny articles
The app opens with the home page, filled with the top articles and videos of the day. Simply tap on one to open and use the tools on the top of the screen to like, share or comment on it. There's also the option of changing text size but the app doesn't come with extra themes or a night mode.
There are other sections to check out, like the columnists, quick fixes filled with top articles on entertaining topics, and the photoplasty section with galleries of images. The app also plays videos but it takes a while to load them, the quality can't be changed and they don't come with replies from users. In addition, you must go to the settings menu and change the screen mode, as videos don't automatically play in landscape mode when you tilt your phone.
No option to upload content
The website offers users the option of contributing with their own material to the content, but this feature isn't available inside the app. Instead, you can check out some of the top articles over the years, materials that have managed to gather the most views and highest ratings. All in all, the app manages to deliver quality humor in articles and videos, but the app needs a bit more work.
