Ordinary optimizer for boosting your phone and clearing cache files

Smartphones are known to lag or even freeze up, especially if you have stored many files on it. To keep your device running at optimal speeds, try an app that can relieve you of junk files and help boost memory. There are many optimizer apps on Google Play Store and CleanWiz doesn't seem to stand out of the crowd.

Same old interface similar to other apps

The UI isn't spectacular, it features a large boost icon in the middle and shortcuts to sections on the bottom, just like other apps. But unlike similar optimizers, CleanWiz comes with the option of changing the skin's color and choosing from 10 different options.

There aren't any instructions but the app comes in several languages and users can even contribute with their own translations. Still, the app's features and overall layout resembles that Clean Master, one of the top applications in this category which makes us doubt its actual performance in boosting phones.

Boost your device's performance

Simply tap on the boost icon for CleanWiz to kill apps running in the background and relieve a certain percentage of memory. Junk cleaner helps you detect and delete files that you no longer need on your device and the memory booster shuts down all applications that take up memory in the background.

You can whitelist the ones you wish to keep. The app helps you automatically erase secure data from the clipboard, manage apps with many permissions on your phone and enable/disable start-up apps on the device.

App manager

The application manager lets you uninstall apps from your phone, manage APK files or move them from/to your SD card, but be careful because some apps stop functioning if placed on the SD card. The app also comes with a toolbar filled with all sorts shortcuts to the booster, camera, text messages, calls and home screen.

In addition, the app displays battery levels and a chat with storage space available on the phone. You can also have the app auto clean the device after screen is closed or enable the floating widget for you home screens. The app also comes with a file manager, so you can arrange and organize all data stored on your phone.

Bottom Line

Design / UI6 The interface is almost identical to that of another, more popular app Clean Master. Still, it comes with the option of changing the skin color.	Function7 It seems to do a good job but we're not quite convinced since it asks you to boost performances immediately after you've completed said task.	Security8 It doesn't seem to need too many permissions from your phone, so you don't have to worry about privacy issues.
Battery6 The app takes up a lot of resources for an optimizer, so it clearly needs improvements in this department.	Price9 Completely free of charge but it does advertise some of the other apps created by the developer.	Compatibility8 It should work just fine on devices running Android version 3.0 or later.
