Nowadays, people use their phones for almost anything considering that there are so many apps out there with plenty of interesting features. That's why many users store personal information on their phones, including credit card and social security numbers.

But, just like for PCs and other devices, smartphones may be the target of viruses and malware. Therefore, it's important to keep them protected by using antivirus software for Android devices. CY Security Antivirus Cleaner is such an app, it uses Kaspersky anti-virus engine to keep your phone protected.

Sleek interface with animation

We've tested our fair share of antivirus apps here and we can say that an intuitive interface and the use of animation is very important for users. CY Security doesn't come with instructions, but the interface is pretty easy-to-use so you wouldn't have any trouble with running the app.

It doesn't come with additional themes, but has some settings under the icon on the top right corner of the screen. Enable real-time protection to have it scan apps after their installation and create an ignore list, to make an exception for certain applications. CY Security comes in multiple languages to choose from.

Scan your device for malware

The app opens with the scanner icon on the screen, tap on it and have it detect malware on your device. It uses animation during scans and you can have the app run a background scan, while you work on your phone.

The app doesn't take long to perform a full scan and there's also an icon you can add to your home screen for fast scans. It uses Kaspersky anti-virus engine to find malware on your phone and the virus database is updated periodically.

Still, it's difficult to say if an antivirus app is working properly, but CY Security seems to do a pretty decent job and may be useful for regular users of Android OS.

Boost your phone and clean junk

The app comes with two other features you can use. The memory booster kills apps running in the background and thus increases the speed of your device and releases memory, however some apps restart automatically after they're closed so you won't see such a big difference in battery levels on your phone.

Still, you can use the junk cleaner to delete unwanted files on your device. The two features have become basic tools for any anti-virus app and CY Security fails to stand out from the crowd. Also, it lacks an anti-theft feature.
