Aqua Mail 1.5.1.13
Aqua Mail is one of the most complex email apps we've seen on Google Play Store as it comes with a whole array of features and settings for regular users and for those who want to make the most of the app.
Sleek design and intuitive interface
The interface is quite lightweight with plenty of features at hand, but the setup might actually take a while to complete. Still, the app provides you with plenty of tips to guide you through the process.
You can sign in with multiple accounts, but you'll have to pick one of the three methods for each account. You can sign in with Gmail or Google Apps, Aqua Mail would use Google recommended “more secure” authentication and it will not see, store or transmit the account's password.
However, this method may come with some errors and users would need to enable IMAP authentication on their account for automatic authentication or setup the account manually.
Sign in to multiple accounts
The nice thing about this app is that you can use it for your personal and work messages at the same time. It gives you access to accounts at Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail, Gmail and others.
It automatically signs you in and you can also use it for work emails, like Office 365, Exchange Online and others. It's truly one of the most complex email apps we've seen so far.
A side menu lets you tap on accounts to retrieve emails. The app also displays the number of seconds it took to load messages, but that also depends on your internet connection.
Read, write and manage emails
Aside from the regular email options like writing, sending and managing emails, you can also tweak settings to make the app your own. It really has more options than even default email apps.
It lets you hide emails, change the color theme, use animation or lock accounts. The number and variety of customization features is truly impressive, but that's not all. You can also assign functions to gestures and manage notifications.
But even if you don't take the time to make changes to the app, the default version is still very functional as it displays messages into certain category based on the day they were received.
