Privacy has always been a major concern especially when it comes to data stored on our phone. Because most apps on our devices keep accounts logged in, people should use an application that locks access to those apps, so that others can't access them without a password. By using AppLock you can make sure your privacy is protected.

Easy-to-use interface with many instructions

AppLock sports a clean interface that can be customized with multiple themes, available for free. All functions are neatly hidden in the menu and with plenty of space on the screen, since the app doesn't come with ads. In addition, the question mark icon on the top right of the screen opens a page with instructions and tips for each section, explaining in full detail how the app may block access to specific data on your phone.

Also you can set one of the three covers to be shown when a locked app is being launched. Each cover opens in a different way and is displayed before the key pad, for double protection. The app also comes with two plugins that you can install.

AppLock, location and time lock

Upon start-up, users must secure this app with a password and connect an e-mail account in case of data loss. With the touch of one button, the app blocks access to all applications installed on the phone and saves settings into a profile.

You can set up multiple profiles and make the app switch through them based on your location or the time of day. This is extremely beneficial, as the app can automatically unlock and provide you with access to apps, in a certain location, either work or home, or at a certain hour.

Photo and video vault

Sometimes our photos and videos need extra protection from unwanted viewers, so AppLock comes with a designated vault for storing such files. They will be automatically removed from your gallery and hidden in the app's vault, secured with a password or pattern lock. In addition to that, you can set the app to lock incoming or outgoing calls, so you'll make sure that no one can take calls on your behalf.
