AndroZip
There are many file managers to choose from, but not all of them come with the option to archive files, compress them into smaller packages as to make it easier to share or transfer. But AndroZip by AVG Labs is one of those apps that has such features and offers them to users for free.
Easy-to-use interface with multiple
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any sort of instructions to get you started, but you really wouldn't need any since the UI is quite intuitive and easy-to-use. It doesn't use a material design, meaning the app doesn't come with a side menu but access to sections are neatly arranged under the overflow button in the right side corner of the screen.
It launches directly with the main directory on your screen, but it doesn't mention the size of folders. It comes with multiple themes that you can choose from, together with the option to change the view mode. You can also change the size of the row and sort files by various criteria.
Manage your files easily
Tap on a file to open options, the app lets you rename, copy, move and create shortcuts for all sort of files. Batch selection is available if you wish to create an encrypted or simple archive. You can also access files on your SD card and create new folders if you wish.
Sort files by name, type, size and date as to make it easier to access them. A search bar helps users find files easier, simply type in a keyname. You can have the file manager search in sub-folders, set a size and date interval.
Manage applications and tasks on your phone
In addition to all the features for managing files, this app also lets you manage applications on your phone, you can backup whichever app you wish. However, this section was poorly designed, check boxes overlap the scrolling line which means it's virtually impossible to check any of them, making this section absolutely useless.
Manage tasks on your phone and kill the ones that you don't want to run in the background. It comes with a whitelist, so you can make sure that only the apps that you actually don't need will be killed. The app could use widgets for the task manager, but it doesn't have any. It comes with ads and a folder with suggested apps. Remove them by upgrading to the premium version for 2.69$.

The interface is easy-to-use with some features at hand, but some sections like the app manager were poorly designed. |
Function8
It works just fine, providing users with the option to manage tasks, applications, files and compress them into archives. |
Security8
It only needs a few permissions from your phone but it doesn't offer users the option to lock access to the app. |
Battery5
Consumption is a bit high, keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price8
It comes with a folder with two suggestions of apps and some banner ads that can be removed for 2.69$. |
Compatibility7
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this app. |
It's a nice app but it needs some improvements.
