Considering that people have a tendency of installing many apps to their phones, they might see their battery levels shrinking fast and their device starting to slow down. On top of that, there are some apps that take up too much battery and users need to be able to identify them. AVG Uninstaller is a useful tool that does just that and helps you get rid of battery draining apps.

Intuitive UI that lacks instructions

The interface will surely seem familiar for users who are accustomed to AVG products. It features the well known dark blue background with thumbnails in the center of the screen. The app comes with ads, but they're only for other AVG products and they can't be removed. There's a help section with useful details on how to use the app, but keep in mind that it takes you out of the app.

AVG Uninstaller comes with four main tools to help you manage your phone. It's more simplistic that many similar apps, but it's very stable and reliable, considering that it's under the AVG brand. The app manager sorts all applications on your phone by battery consumption, data and storage usage.

AVG Uninstaller needs 72 hours to learn which apps are being used the least, so keep that in mind after you install the app. The first section sorts apps by the number of days each app has gone unused. The size of each app is displayed next to it and you can choose to uninstall those that are used the least. Still, AVG asks you for confirmation when you wish to uninstall multiple apps at the same time.

Get advice on boosting your phone's performance

AVG can also sort all apps by battery usage, it displays the amount of power each app consumed in a certain interval of time. However, this feature needs more work as it doesn't provide reliable data. Users can also check which apps take up the most internet resources or have them get sorted by size. AVG doesn't include system apps in these lists, nor root apps.

Another feature is that you can have the app provide you with advice on how to improve your phone's performance. Advisor frequency can be set daily, weekly or once every couple of weeks.
