Easy-to-use GUI, but with few features
The user interface is truly intuitive. All you need to do in order to use this app is to sign up with an email address and type in a user name. Accounts are password protected, but email addresses aren't verified. Afterwards, you can start uploading pictures, videos or any file from your device.
The app allows you to organize files into folders, so better access. It displays the size of your file, as well as how many times it was downloaded by other users. You can add as many files as you wish as long as they don't surpass the size limit of 15GB.

Aside from having access to your files from whichever device you use, 4shared app also gives you access to content uploaded by its many users.
You can filter files by name, type, extension and size, to make sure you don't fill your account with few but high-quality videos. The app also allows you to save files onto your device and you can receive instant notifications for when any of your files is being downloaded.
Simplistic app and some execution problems
4shared app doesn't come with many features. Of course, you can share files through social networking accounts, but you must be extremely careful with the content you upload, as it is made public and may be downloaded by anyone in the 4shared community.
In addition, the app doesn't actually verify if the email address you've provided is actually valid and it returned some search results that might not be suitable for children, meaning uploaded pictures aren't filtered.
