Memory Toolbox for Android 1.2
There are many such apps available on Google Play Store, one of them is Memory Toolbox for Android. It's neat and has lots of features that you can use.
Sleek interface with features at hand
The app doesn't launch with a tutorial and it doesn't have any kind of instructions or tips for new users. It doesn't use material design, which means that it doesn't have a side menu with sections that you can access easily.
Still, the overflow icon on the top of the screen gives users access to some features and areas of the app. The UI seems to be ill-fitted a bit, since it has a big banner ad on top and lots of free space on the bottom of the screen.
Free memory easily
It displays two pie charts that help users check used, free and total RAM. You can also check used and free memory, the amount of temporary data or the total storage space available on your phone.
Access sections by selecting one of the three tabs available on the home page. The memory booster safely kills background tasks and cleans unwanted temporary data. It displays the number of killed tasks, together with the amount of cleaned cache and RAM recovered.
There are three levels of memory boost, you can pick the one you desire from the settings menu. The app also comes with a task manager, allowing users to kill exactly the tasks that they want to remove. You can whitelist the ones that you wish to keep.
Some more features
It has an Android cleaner function which you can use to clean all applications and browser cache, as well as the history in the browser, clipboard, Gmail search, Google Map and even Play Store. After you perform your first cleaning function with this app, it displays the amount of RAM and storage space it has reclaimed.
The forth super booster level is only available if you upgrade to the premium version for 2.45$. Other premium features include booster and cleaner widgets, auto memory cleaner and booster and removal of ads. You'd also get customer support.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is okay, but it seems a bit dated not to mention ill-fitted in certain sections and it doesn't use material design. |
Function7
It works just fine, but it fails to stand out from the crowd as it doesn't have any special features. |
Security9
It only needs a few permissions from your phone, so it shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery6
Consumption is moderate, but a bit higher than expected for a memory booster app. |
Price7
The app is a bit pricey, it comes with ads and all the nice features that you can find in other apps are paid and must be purchased for 2.45$. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making this app available to many users. |
It's nice, but it needs much more work if it intends to compete against more complex memory boosters.
