This utility comes with a really appealing aspect as it features a beautiful background and carefully drawn graphics that are consistent throughout the app.
Navigating through the various sections of the application and browsing the lists it contains have a fluent feel to it, but when entering or exiting a listing there is a slight yet a bit annoying waiting time.

The first time it is deployed, Transparent Tiles Maker will download the list of store apps for which it has a special tile, so you will have them at your fingertips listed under the corresponding category. Some system settings are also ready for appearing on the Start screen once you select them form the "Settings" area.
In case you want to quickly access any of those entries, you can use the built-in search engine that is quite responsive and accurate. Pinning the tiles is, as expected, a one tap job once you are inside the app's listing.
Detailed tile customization
With Transparent Tiles Maker you also have the possibility to personalize the shortcuts, but you will have to purchase this feature to unlock it and have access to different tile styles and custom titles. You will be able to use personal images as backgrounds and also add lines of text onto the wide tiles.
