You have the possibility to activate and configure the weather, stocks and news widgets that are among the default content providers and also activate the calendar event view, as well as other type of content by choosing the respective option from the list offered by the app.
Most of the widgets you choose to be displayed onto the lock screen have a few configuration options you can tinker with, so you should check out these settings by accessing the corresponding setup areas.
Background and live tile customizations
This application is able to use as background sources Bing pictures, Facebook photos or images taken from 500px. You can also opt for the solid color background or choose a set of your own photos stored inside the local gallery.
Pinning a shortcut to the Start screen is one of the features still under development in Awesome Lock, but it seems to work fine and you can have a lot of info on display inside that tile, which is best displayed in wide format.
The offline mode that this utility comes with makes it possible for you to have the info that does not require Internet connectivity(like calendar events, for instance) to be promptly updated onto the lock screen.
