Settings Tile is one of the applications that were built in response to this need and it will enable you to give a really nice and functional look to your Windows Phone.
Nicely designed and easy to use GUI
This application is all about practicality and thus offers a clean layout, well organized and with every feature and command conveniently placed inside the main section.
All the tiles are neatly stacked in rows and columns, but their arrangement could be a lot better if users would have the possibility to order them alphabetically, for instance.
Navigating among the few areas of the app is fluent and without any issues, the main source of discontent you will encounter being the advertisement banners constantly changing at the bottom of the screen and the occasional prompts to rate and review the utility.
Choose and customize tiles before pinning them
Compared to similar tools, Settings Tile is better equipped to provide quick access to system features and areas, covering a wide range of tools.
What's even better is that before adding a fresh tile, this utility enables you to customize the style by assigning a different color, icon and transparency, in order to personalize each item.
The modifications you can add to a default tile include the choice of a background color and of a custom image from the several ones included in the package. In case you prefer to gave a completely see-through shortcut, you can activate the transparency for both background and tile image.
The built-in preview enables you to check out the medium and wide tiles on the spot, so see who they will look like when pinned to the Start screen. Adding the freshly designed shortcuts takes a single press on the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen.
Apart form the system settings it can put at your fingertips, Settings Tile features a couple of shortcuts for opening the Google and Wikipedia main pages with one tap.
There are some tiles that cannot be tweaked or pinned without making a payment, however they are functional and available from the "All Settings" section of the application.
