Settings Center 1.0.0.8
For those who want a bit more control and are willing to try one the dedicated utilities that serve as a repository for various shortcuts and extra tools that are not yet integrated by default with the operating system, Settings Center is one of the possible choices.
Neat and clean interface, with an intuitive layout
The application greets you with a pretty GUI that features some carefully designed graphics that are consistent from end to end. The nicely colored shortcut tiles that are at your disposal are kept inside two screens that you can go through by swiping the upper part of the screen.
The lower half of the display is reserved for the built-in audio player, while the app tile pinning button and the "Settings" switch are hidden inside the main menu that is available in the lower side of the screen.
A noticeable drawback from the visual perspective is the presence of some full screen adverts at startup and you are also presented with offers to install other apps when trying to exit Settings Center.
Pinnable shortcuts and extra tools at hand
The utility enables you to easily add the system settings and app tiles to the Start screen by simply pressing for a couple of seconds any of the items listed inside the two dedicated sections.
Besides offering quick access to several system areas, Settings Center also supports a couple of commonly installed apps like Facebook and Twitter, while also providing a flashlight switch, a lock screen as well as a stop music button.
Simple music player and basic application options
Settings Center comes with its own audio player solution that is integrated inside the main screen, so you can start listening to the music tracks stored onto your phone with a single tap. There is a large "Play/Pause" button right the middle of the player, flanked by the "Previous" and "Next" functions.
The song title is shown on top of the player controls and you can choose a custom font for the text from the "Settings" section of the application.
