Quick Settings 1.6.4.0

Keep a set of useful system settings and quick commands at your fingertips
Numerous Windows Phone users find it easier to have onto their Start screen certain shortcuts to various areas of the system, so as to be able to activate or disable certain functions with fewer taps than going through the "Settings" menu.

To help them in this respect, a number of specialized utilities have been developed and among them you can find and try one suggestively called Quick Settings.

Simple and well organized GUI

This application is all about practicality and thus offers a clean layout, well organized and with every feature and command conveniently placed inside the two main sections you can access.

The system tiles you have at your fingertips have a neat design, with clear and crisp graphics, while the navigation inside the various areas of the app is fluent at all times.

You should note that when they are pinned to the Start screen, the shortcuts provided by Quick Settings support only two tile sizes, namely small and medium.

Instant access to system options

There are only a few settings you can access from inside this app or using the shortcuts it can generate, but they are linked to some of the most commonly visited areas.

Thus, you can add to your Windows Phone's Start screen the tiles that will get you quickly to the airplane mode, location services, Bluetooth, WiFi or cellular sections. To have any of these pinned all you have to do is tap and hold the corresponding tile inside Quick Settings.

Useful extra tools and information

The application packs some neat options inside and there are several functions you will surely find quite handy as soon as you try them out. The first one is the "Close the Music" button, that is pretty self-explanatory and provides a control that is not integrated by default with the OS.

There is also a "Flashlight" button that will take you inside a separate module from where you can command the phone's built-in flash to turn on or off, send out flashing SOS light or audio (Morse Code) signals or sound a siren alarm.

The last section that provides extra functionality is the "Battery" area where you can check out the current status of the battery, with details including the charge percentage and estimated stand-by time.
