The simple GUI of this application is built for ease of access, as it offers in the main screen a list with all the categories of measurement units it supports, so you can start the conversions on the spot.
The home screen of this app is populated with a dozen large tiles, each having a relevant icon that illustrates the purpose served by each of them. The colors and graphics are nothing out of the ordinary, but the layout is definitely well organized and easy to use.
Navigating through the various screens of the utility is very fluent and without any delays or other hindrances. However, after a few uses you will start to receive some reminders that prompt you to rate and review Quick Convert, but you can deactivate and send them away with a couple of taps.
Pick the category and convert units on the fly
The utility offers a very simple mode of operation, so you will be able to carry out the needed conversions in no time. You just have to pick the source and output units and input the value to view the result after pressing the "Convert" button.
This app has in store just over a dozen of transformation categories that cover the most common measurement units and by tapping the corresponding tile form the main screen you will enter the conversion module.
There is only one converter that is not shown on the main screen, the Base Convert module that can be accessed only via the main menu hosted in the lower side of the screen.
The unit selection is done in an intuitive manner, by tapping the corresponding fields, while adding the quantity to be transformed can be done just as easily. You should note that Quick Convert also supports negative numbers and to insert the "minus" sign in the numbers field you have to press for a few seconds on the "dot" symbol shown when the numeric pad is active.
