The Start screen on these devices supports less customizations than is the case with mobiles powered by other OSes, but there are a few tricks you can try and some apps like Perfect Lock even allow you to tweak the look of some specific tiles.
Simple appearance, with an easy to use front-end
The application has a pretty neat layout, at least from the functional perspective, as it enables you to quickly access all the tools and commands from the main screen.
The tile preview has a decent size and the graphics are smooth, including the nice animated transitions when a different icon is selected for viewing.
In the upper right corner of the utility you will surely notice the button that when tapped presents you with an offer to try out other apps for the same developer.

Perfect Lock comes with a wide variety of icons in store, so it may take a minute or two just to go through them to see how they look like from the menu hosted in the lower side of the screen.
In case you like one of the designs, simply tap it to have the icon brought onto the workspace and loaded in the preview area for a better view. Each item can be modified using the controls that are right at your fingertips inside the main screen.
Thus, the app enables you to enlarge or decrease the size of the graphics displayed on the tile with the help of a simple slider. In case you like having the graphics in a larger dimension but they start to overlap the text, you can easily deactivate the tile name by using the dedicated switch.
All the icons that Perfect Lock brings you support transparency and if your Start screen is not transparent or if you simply do not want the tile to look that way, disabling the transparency can also be done with the flick of a switch.
As you will immediately notice, some of the designs are tagged as "Premium" and these items can be previewed and customized just like the others, but you will not be able to pin them to the Start screen until purchasing them.
