LUMIA Tool 2.2.0.0
For those who are willing to add a fresh tile to the Start screen, but do not want to pin 5 or 6 of them to have instant access to various sections of the system, LUMIA Tool might be of some help.
This particular app is meant to facilitate the access to certain settings that most users approach more frequently and all the shortcuts it provides are available inside a single screen, to make accessing them more convenient.
Simplified look for ease of use
The utility greets you with an uncomplicated GUI, where every feature is neatly separated from the rest and all of them are structured in a pretty tidy layout.
The graphics are not impressive, though, even if there is an attempt of stylish background inside the main screen, so the focus remains clearly on the practical aspect much more than on visual appeal.
There are some annoyances you will surely notice as soon as you open LUMIA Tool for the first time because there are two rows of advertisement banners that are continuously changing and flashing, one in the upper side and the other at the bottom of the screen.
Fast access to several configurations
All the functional buttons remain at hand, so you will be able to immediately open the WiFi, cellular or location settings. Also included are quick links to Bluetooth, power Battery Saver and flight mode configurations.
The way in which these items are spread around the main screen doesn't seem to follow any ordering rules and they seem to have been arbitrarily placed in there.
The color of the tiles corresponding to each system settings shortcut is consistent with the phone's accent color, so by modifying it you will give a different look to this application as well.
In case you were thinking that these functions can be added to the Start screen in any way, you will be disappointed because only the app's main icon can be pinned there.
Perhaps the only good part that you will discover when using LUMIA Tool is that there are no lags or other kind of glitches that may interfere with the proper functioning of the application.
