InstaBlender is one of these apps and it offers a new perspective on image editing by proposing an interesting method of merging a couple of photos into a single pic and editing it in detail.
Nicely designed front-end
The interface of this application looks very well and has a nice feel to it, especially thanks to the seamless navigation through the numerous menus and tools it comes with. The commands are all neatly placed close at hand, so working with the images is downright smooth.
The preview is very responsive and as soon as a modification is made, you will see it immediately come into effect. Nonetheless, here and there an occasional prompt to rate the application will bother you for a couple of seconds.
Modify digital images with a lot of dedicated functions
The range of tools packed into this application is impressive, to say the least. After making the selection for the two images that will be used, you can modify them individually, thanks to the built-in "Photo Editor", which contains everything from brightness, contrast, hue, saturation or sharpness adjustments, to orientation, text and special effect options.
Choosing the image blending mode is one of the nicest parts of the process, as InstaBlender offers a good array of variants you can try and fine tune to perfection with a simple slider. Once this stage is complete, you can move on to the editing area, where the picture combination can be further enhanced.
You can add colored borders to the picture, change its orientation or add some text overlays with a few taps. Other additions include exposure, light, saturation, contrast and brightness calibration, as well as applying various effects and filters, distortions and even HDR transformations.
