4Effects is an innovative app that was created to allow Windows Phone users to personalize their photos by adding various customizations to 4 different areas of the original image.
Uncomplicated interface, with a convenient design
Once you install and start the app you will be greeted by a simple GUI, with all the commands in plain sight, so you can access them with no efforts. There is a lot of space reserved for the image preview, so you will be able to look closely at all the changes you make during the process.
The modifications are applied in real-time, but there is a quite annoying delay when selecting the areas of the picture that will be subjected to modification.
Going through the numerous filters available from the menu placed in the lower side of the screen is fluent and this time you will no longer have to face any lags or other type of glitches.
Quick layout selection and image personalization
With 4Effects you get 3 different layouts by default, while for the other set of 3 you will have to rate the app in order to unlock them. It is important to note that a purchase is not necessary for this.
As son as you pick the image, the sections where you can apply the effects will be established automatically, so you can start working on them immediately. Selecting any of the 4 regions where the new filters will be applied takes up the most time because the modifications are applied instantly.
Layered filtering and custom watermarks
A neat feature of 4Effects is the ability to stack several filters one on top of the other, so you can make any kind of combination using the dozens of effects you have at your disposal.
Going through the "Settings" menu you will discover that the watermarking component is activated by default and you would not have found this out until you opened a saved picture. This function can be deactivated or personalized, while another option available in the same section relates to the quality of the output, which ranges from 456 by 678 pixels (low) to 1824 by 2712 pixels (high).
