For Windows Phone users, one of the many apps designed for this purpose is Flash Sports and it packs a few hundred channels into a single, easy to use package.
Nice looking and functional GUI
The application has a neat interface, with well designed graphics and a decent organization of all the sporting events, so that they are very easy to browse and select for viewing.
Viewing the broadcasts in landscape orientation is available only when accessing the broadcasts, while the image quality depends on what the source channel is providing.
While watching the live streams you might come across some adverts, but otherwise you will be facing only some notifications and reminders that ask you to participate in some challenges to earn points that can be used for unlocking various options.

Inside the main screen of Flash Sports you have at your disposal the live events from all the listed sports and you can go through that list to find the ones you are interested in following.
To make things even easier for you, there is a search function included in the utility that make sit possible for you to look for specific matches. There is even a reminder feature you can activate for upcoming events, so you will never lose the start of any match or competition.
The list of supported sports includes football (soccer), tennis, basketball, baseball, American football, motor sports and many more.
However, there is a catch to this as only a handful are available in the free version of the app and you can only have them all for 7 days in case you choose to activate the trial of the full edition.
View live matches and record them
By tapping any of the listed events you will be presented with a list of broadcasting channels you can choose from and with another press start the streaming.
The playback controls are at hand and can be hidden from view manually or you can leave them alone and watch them disappear after a few seconds.
A great addition to the feature set is the recording capability that allows you to save bits of the matches or even the entire events and have them stored inside the application.
As is the case with a lot of apps of this kind, some channels are not showing the event they are supposed to, but these cases are quite rare with Flash Sports.
