Windows Phone users have at their disposal a wide variety of applications designed to bring TV broadcasts onto their mobile devices and one of the many apps designed for this purpose is Live Sports World.
Plain and simple interface with clean graphics
The application has a neat interface, with well designed graphics and a decent organization of all the channels, so that they are quite easy to go through and you can select the ones you want watch in no time.
The landscape orientation is the only one available when accessing the broadcasts, while the image quality depends on what the source channel is providing.
A constant nuisance comes form the advertisement banners that appear inside the GUI and which are constantly changing in the lower side of the screen. From time to time you will also get some reminders that prompt you to rate and review Live Sports World.
Search or browse the channel list to pick the favorite stations
This utility has a built-in search feature that you can use when inside a category of channels chosen from the main list, but this is generally of no practical use because there are scarcely that many stations included in one section that it is too difficult to simply scroll to the desired station.
An alphabetical organization of the contained channels would be great, but it is not available at this time inside Live Sports World.
On the other hand, choosing the preferred stations out of the lot is easygoing, as all you have to do is tap and hold for a couple of seconds the channel name to have it included in the favorites section.
One tap update of the channel list and broadcasting issues
This application offers a simple and efficient way of getting the latest stations listed inside the corresponding area and all you have to do is press the "Sync" button from the main menu hosted in the lower side of the screen.
As is the case with a lot of apps of this kind, a good deal of channels are not functioning for various reasons. Also, when accessing some of the TV stations you will only get a prerecorded short video instead of the actual live stream.
