This application takes its job very seriously and succeeds in providing a professional way of tending any bit of text, voice recording and picture that you want to manage, as it is packed with neat features.
Neatly organized and well designed GUI
The clean and tidy interface of Evernote has a pleasant look, while the practical aspect is also very well implemented, as the utility keeps all its functions and commands easily accessible.
The graphics are pretty well designed and consistent from end to end, while going through its menus, browsing the lists of notes and their content is really smooth at all times.
The generous space reserved for writing the texts and also the smart placement of the notes inside notebooks allow the content to be accessed and viewed in a very convenient manner at all times.
Create notes and manage them with ease
Once you pin to the Start screen the tiles for new notes and saved notebooks you will be able to get to them even faster, without having to open the app each time. There are many features you can use to save various types of content, like audio recordings or snapshots captures in photo, document or post-it modes.
Besides the scanning capabilities, Evernote allows you to share the saved items with everyone and it is also possible to create tile templates for written, audio or image notes. Sending any item via email is a simple task and you can add some extra text to go with that note.
Users can set reminders for each note, share the memos on social networks or via email, but it would be great if the notes could be sent directly to the cloud storage account of the user.
