If pinning over a dozen contacts onto the Start screen is not an option for you, Drag And Call is an app that will surely come in handy, as it offers plenty of features that are not easy to find on Windows Phone devices.
Practical front-end, designed for ease of use
The looks of this utility are rather common, without too many visually appealing elements inside, but still with some decent graphics. The quick dial will look as nice as the photos you assign to your contacts and the mosaic that results after filling all the empty slots can be quite fun.
The tiles are pretty well arranged around the two main buttons displayed in the middle of the screen, but the layout is not flexible and cannot be modified. A visible nuisance is the presence of some advertisement banners that keep on changing in the lower part of the screen.
Add contacts and share them on the fly
Drag And Call offers 16 spots you can use to bring the friends you call and text most often closer. In case you have them already listed in the "People" hub, things will be very easy, because you can browse to the desired entry fro the "Edit" screen and all the details (name, phone number and photo) will be automatically added to that slot.
Each individual contact can be distributed in a variety of manners, more precisely via SMS, email, QR code and "Tap and Send". The last two options wil become available only after a purchase is made.
Built-in dialer with a smart search
With Drag And Call you will be able to lookup the contacts from your collection using the intuitive feature offered by the smart dialer included in the package. Thus, all you have to do is start typing the number and all the contacts containing either the digit or corresponding letter will be displayed.
In case you want to add a fresh number to an existing entry or create a new one altogether, this is one tap away thanks to the "Save" function available inside the keypad screen.
