Contacts 1.13.3.13

A simple tool for keeping phone contacts at hand for calling or sending messages with one tap
Users who find the built-in Windows Phone functionality for accessing and managing contacts are free to find and try other solutions and among the dedicated applications that are meant for this purpose there is one called suggestively Contacts.

This friendly app is bent on helping you hold close at hand the phone numbers of those friends and family members you get in touch with most frequently.

Simple and attractive design with a functional layout

This utility features a really nice interface, that makes everything very easy to read and access. The commands are all placed quite conveniently, so there will be no time lost looking for one function or another.

Moving around the app and going through long lists of contacts is seamless, without any lags in loading the necessary data. Should the advertisements from the GUI seem too much to handle, from the "Settings" area they can be disabled in a straightforward manner.

Keep track of all contacts, recently used or favorite entries

This tool automatically detects and puts on display all the contacts stored onto your phone, so you can select the ones you want to keep in the "Favorites"area. Unfortunately, you will not be able to create several folders or edit the contact information in any way.

Contacts gives you the possibility to save the names and phone numbers to clipboard, one at a time, so as to be able to add them into a document or use them inside another app. Initiating calls and SMS messages is one tap away and there is a built-in keypad you can use for such purposes.

  • users cannot share or backup contacts
  • the app doesn't provide suggestions when dialing from the keypad
Bottom Line
Design / UI8

The application has a simple interface, but it is pretty well designed as it looks nice and has a good feel about it when used. The fact that the ads can be deactivated with a couple of taps is a great advantage as it helps in keeping the GUI as clean as possible.

Function6

The basic management features offered by this app are barely sufficient as there are no possibilities to edit the contacts or display suggestions from the phone book when dialing a number on the built-in keypad.

Security9

The utility requires access to some secure areas of the system, but this is necessary for the app's functions to work properly, as Contacts doesn't meddle into places it shouldn't be looking into.

Battery8

With a moderate power consumption for the most part of its runtime, the application ensures that the battery usage is kept at decent levels.

Price9

Offered free of cost and featuring a really welcomed feature for removing ads completely, the app has very good value. Nonetheless, it only loses a bit because it still needs some more advanced features.

Compatibility8

Appropriate for use on Windows Phone 8 and above devices, this utility doesn't need anything else than a minimum screen resolution of 480 by 800 pixels.
