Zipongo 4.0
How are we supposed to do this, you ask? Well, one way to do this is to avoid junk food and unhealthy dishes. Therefore, having an app that only displays healthy recipes might be the best way to go about things since you won’t get sidetracked and end up cooking something deliciously bad for you.
Zipongo is an app that want to help you with this goal by only hosting healthy recipes. The intuitive interface makes handling this tool quite easy so you shouldn’t have any difficulties in figuring out Zipongo.
Quick access
The main screen provides quick access to all app areas. At the top of the screen you’ll find the recipes, while the favorite dishes you’ve bookmarked can be found right below. The shopping list is also easily accessible from the same screen, along with any grocery deals nearby.
The app holds recipes for various courses over the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also those very important snacks. Alternatively, you can just browse them all at the same time and decide for yourself when to cook it.
There are some filters you can adjust, if you have any dietary issues. For instance, you can only look for recipes that are vegetarian, vegan or follow the paleo diet. Additionally, if you have any allergies or food restrictions, you can check those out from a list that includes dairy, eggs, gluten fish, shellfish, soy, pork, red meat, peanuts and tree nuts.
Everything you need
Recipes come with a pretty picture attached, as well as information about how many servings they cover, how much time preparing everything takes and just how long the actual cooking takes, as well as the number of calories.
The ingredients list is present too, along with the cooking method, displayed step by step. At the bottom of the page you’ll find some nutritional information regarding the protein, fiber, carbs, calcium, sugar, sodium, saturated fats, vitamins C and A levels.
The recipes come with a few buttons. One lets you add it to the favorites page, one lets you share them on Facebook, Twitter, or via email and SMS, while the third allows you to add ingredients to the shopping list so you don’t have to bother with it later.
All in all, this is a nice app. It’s easy to use and holds plenty of cool recipes that you can try out whenever you feel like it.
