Enjoying the beautiful things in life is something we all love doing. Looking at artsy photographs is one way of doing this and one of the ways most of us like to spend our free time.

Oggl is an app that was designed not only to help you discover great images, but also to create your own photos worthy of people’s admiration.

As you launch the app, you’ll have to log in. This can be done with the help of the social login feature of Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Alternatively, you can use an email address. This will help you find friends that are also using this app and you can share the content you love with them.

Follow strangers for cool content

Oggl proposes some cool feeds for you to follow, which will help populate the app for you with cool pictures. Then, in the home screen  you’ll discover various categories for content, including hot pictures of the day, beautiful portraits and amazing places that you’d love to visit. More feeds can be added to the mix, either by adding more people from groups of people, hash tags, pictures for particular locations and so on.

Images can be added to the list of things you love or reposted for your followers. For improved organizing, you can add them to various collections.

As mentioned, you can also take your own photos after you’ve been inspired by the content posted on the platform. There are multiple modes you can take the pictures in, thanks to the camera tool included in the app. For instance, you can pick between landscape, portrait, nightlife, food or sunset. It seems that these are the most popular types of photos to be taken.

Additional features enable you to choose the type film you want the app to replicate, as well as the lens you’d like to use. For most of these, however, you’ll have to shell out money.

The Oggl settings area enables you to fiddle around with notifications, letting you decide just which of these you’re interested in getting. You may also handle social network connections from the same area, adding Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Foursquare and Flickr accounts.

All in all, this is a nice app, even though a great deal of its features are locked behind a paywall.
