Litely 1.1.5

Litely wants to help you edit some pictures by adding filters
Playing around with the way your pictures look is something that you’ve probably done a few times until now if you’re reading this particular review or looking for information on Litely. That being said, here’s what you can expect from this photo editing tool.

First of all, Litely is an iOS app that allows users to adjust pictures in just a few easy steps that will only take you a few minutes to complete, depending on how picky you are and what‘s the look you’re looking to accomplish.

The app is a breeze to work with and has a simplistic design that should make things easy to handle even by those who are just now looking to try their hand at basic photo editing.

Work on photos

You can add several photos to the list and then go through them all and edit them to suit your needs. You have the ability to add various filters that come with the app. Some of them are available for free, while others will cost you a pretty penny, although they’re usually packs containing a dozen presets.

Then, you can take things a step further and make a few additional adjustments. For instance, you may fiddle with the picture’s exposure, contrast, vibrance, and color temperature. If you want to add a vignette, since they’re so popular in the past few years, you can do that as well. Each of these comes with a slider that you can use to adjust the intensity of the filter.

It’s also possible to crop the pictures you’re working with by using the two options available – square and original. This time, the slider won’t enlarge and tighten the frame, but it will rotate the image left and right. The additional button on the right will rotate the image entirely.

All pictures can be saved to the Camera Roll, copied, opened in another app or shared via SMS or other apps you have installed.

Simple to use

All in all, this isn’t an overly complicated app by any means. In fact, it’s extremely simplistic and it could use a few more features for users to have a proper playground. We’ve definitely seen better tools out there, but we’ve also seen a lot more that are poorly designed and coded, ruining people’s experience when trying to make a few simple adjustments.

There’s also the fact that there are only a few free filters available, while most of them will cost you quite a bit. It’s a bit annoying that you can’t test all the presets in the pack before actually making the purchase.
