Customized cooking tailored just for you
You just grab a recipe a start scrolling down. You’re given the author’s name and profile (generally a well known cook), the difficulty level, the duration to prepare the respective dish, nutrition facts, videos (how to chop up the garlic, how to mix the greens, etc.), the ingredients, the utensils, various tips, and finally the step-by-step guide to make the dish already.
The list of ingredients can be exported as a shopping list into a different place in the app, complete with checkboxes in front of each ingredient so you can check them off the list as you go.The shopping lists you put together in the app can even be sent directly to the Apple reminders app, making for a seamless integration with the operating system and a time saver.This feature alone is worth downloading Kitchen Stories.
The app allows you to share all your recipes via email or even print them if you want to have them on hand at all times.The Notifications Center on iOS provides free new recipes via the new widget, making for some pretty awesome dinner ideas.
The app allows you to switch up to imperial units if you want and start cooking with cups if that’s what you’re most accustomed with. Since the holidays are just around the corner, there are plenty of free Christmas recipes for free and even more How-To videos for cool tips .
High-def videos
The videos are very comprehensive and the image quality is very high. Other features include a built-in timer, a favorites section where you can save recipes, a note taking tool, and sharing options. This is easily one of the best cooking apps we’ve seen in the App Store. These people clearly know what they’re doing.
The "How-to" area will enable users to access cool new content with nifty tips for the Holiday season.
