Heyday - Smart Photo Organizer and Collage Journal / Diary 2.3
Do you remember where you were this time last year? No? Well, if you use Heyday, you will. This is an app that was created to help you transform the photos and videos on your iPhone into a personal journal of sorts, where you can go and rediscover the most important moments you went through.
Make a journal
Heyday automatically chronicles the places you go and the things you see (and take pictures of), which should help you keep better track of the experiences you had in the past.
It’s not just single pictures that you can add to your journals, but also galleries. All you have to do is select more pictures, pick a collage layout and then go about editing your photos if you want. Of course, the editing part isn’t exactly the most extensive experience since it only includes a bunch of photo filters and a couple of buttons for adjusting the coloring and brightness of the picture.
Heyday will surface your best memories for anniversaries, trips and places, helping you rediscover the things you thought were worth sharing.
The app’s Days section lets you make journal-like entries for your life so you can showcase and remember the important things. There’s also a share feature allowing you to easily tell the world about your life. The search feature lets you find anniversaries, notes, restaurants and anything else you may be in need of.
Notes, photos, friends and location
The journal entries allow you to add notes and the location you are sharing from by gaining access to your phone’s GPS data. You can add a location that’s been flagged nearby or share the name of spot you’re in on your own.
You can then add pictures and collages, and include friends to complete your memories. By noting who you’re with you won’t actually be sharing any of the data with these individuals, even if they’re your best friends. In order to be able to do this you’ll have to tie your account with Facebook and pick a friend from there. It’s even possible to alter the date and time for the journal entry if you want to.
All in all, Heyday is a nice app that will help you keep track of the cool moments in your life. All you have to do is actually remember to jot down entries to your journal.
