Whether you’re getting used to the same keyboard theme, or simply looking forward to new changes, GoKeyboard is a free app that offers an alternative of changing iPhone’s default keyboard layout.

After downloading the app, one would think that the app is ready to use. But not yet. The initial setup will guide you through a small tutorial, although easy to understand and to follow, which enables the app to properly work by teaching you how to tweak the settings needed in order to allow its functionality.

Change the default theme of your phone, or create your own

Whenever you wish to change the default keyboard, GoKeyboard offers the possibility to change its layout to two more themes. At the same time, it allows you to use any background you like to use while texting your friends, enabling an endless amount of possibilities, using the DIY Background option. The app will require you to take a photo, or access to the camera roll to use an existing one. After selecting the blur and transparency of the keyboard, your new theme is ready to use. Be aware though. The app will save only one custom background.

There is one minor setback though. Whenever any changes are made in the GoKeyboard app, the user will need to enter into messaging and change the theme manually.

Massive support for different languages and keyboard input

This app offers support for more than 30 different languages, including Deutch, French, Netherlands, Romanian, Russian, special support towards Chinese input and much more, including special characters and predictive text for each input. It will take just a few seconds to download the desired package. Furthermore , the app offers sound settings for enabling or disabling sounds being played on key presses.
