Fit Brains Trainer 3.1
Lately, I’ll have to admit that I’ve become quite hooked to such games and I have a few apps installed that I try to find time to play with every day. Fit Brains Trainer is one of the apps that falls into this very same category.
Set up the app
First off, Fit Brains Trainer asks you to set up an account and let it know several things about yourself. For instance, what are you most interested in improving? It is your memory, concentration level, problem solving technique, thinking speed, language or visual spatial? Furthermore, you’ll have to tell the app what’s the level of education that’s most relevant to you and to pick a statement that best describes your interest in brain training (faster thinking, better memory, problem solving, focus improvement).
The training sessions are then customized to fit your desires and your estimated levels. In one test you’ll have to memorize the items that appear and point out the ones that were added when the page refreshes, while in another you’ll have to spot and tap on the matching pairs.
There are a lot of games available, some free for everyone and some that are restricted to paying users only. The list includes “Spot the difference,” “Coin Calc,” “Paint Drops,” “Synonyms and Antonyms,” “Quick Blocks,” “Stacked Discs,” and so on.
See how you're doing
The app then provides you with detailed reports about your performance, including how many training sessions you’ve had, the scores you received and even how your results compare with those received by the other users of this app.
The nice part about this app is that it was created by a doctor, namely Dr. Paul Nussbaum, Chief Science Officer of Fit Brains and a clinical Neuropsychologist that specializes in brain health across the lifespan. Basically, an expert.
Brain fitness can help you keep your brain running at top speed and even improve it as you age, which is just about all that we can wish for.
All in all, Fit Brains is a great tool that you’ll have fun using. If you want to make sure you’re taking your training when you have to, you’ll just have to enable the reminder and set it for a certain time. Well, that’s until your memory starts working again at top speed and you won’t need the reminder any more.
