If you often have to deal with exchanging currencies, then you know how annoying it can be to always go to that one site you trust to give you the right rates or to search the Internet for the information you need. Having an app on hand to help you figure this out can be extremely helpful since it’s almost certain that you will have your phone close by at all times.

Currency Converter Widget is an app that makes things a lot easier for you. With a very simple interface, the app helps you get access to the latest rates. The app will update on its own in the background if you have an active Internet connection, but it will also update when prompted by tapping on the refresh button.

Limited collection

You can very easily pick the currencies you want to see the rates for. Aside from the name, there is also a flag to accompany the currency so you can spot those you need a lot faster. Unfortunately, there are only 30 currencies available, which means there are plenty of these that you won’t be able to check. Even so, there are plenty of the most popular ones, including the US Dollar, the Swiss Franc, the Indian Rupee, the Euro, and so on.

You can input any number you want to see exchanged and you won’t even have to deal with the keyboard numbers since there’s a pad included in the interface. For your comfort, you can even swap between the two with great ease, with the top number being the one that actually remains unchanged. This means you’ll be able to see the conversion rate for 30 dollars into Euros, or 30 Euros into dollars.

Enable the widget

As the app’s name suggests, there is also a widget. This one will show you the latest numbers you’ve input in the app. What you need to do, of course, is to actually enable the widget. To do this you must swipe down on the phone’s screen and go to the Today section. From there, tap the edit button and and the plus sign near the Currency Converter Widget. In no time, the converter becomes active and displays the rate you’re interested in. Tapping on the widget takes you to the app.

This is certainly an easy-to-use app and will come in handy for everyone frequently dealing with currencies.
