Cocktails by Italian Yummy 2.0.3

If you’ve gone to a bar or two in your life, then you know there’s an endless list of cocktails that can be made, even though the offering is most often than not quite limited. It depends, of course, of the location you’re visiting.

You probably already have a favorite cocktail in mind, but never knew how to make it. Well, Cocktails by Italian Yummy will help solve this issue for you, as it hosts a wide list of cocktail recipes, which you can use in your own home if your bar is stocked enough for such a thing.

Easy to use

The app itself is pretty simple and you won’t have to spend a lot of time figuring it out. The interface is split into a grid with six boxes. The first one is labeled Cocktails and that’s where you’ll find the entire list with hundreds of cocktails. You can either do an advanced search, let the app surprise you or check them all one by one. Alternatively, you can check for those containing a specific beverage, such as brandy, for instance.

The recipes are pretty nicely arranged. You’ll notice the difficulty level, the taste it has (fresh, sweet, dry, stout) and what the best glass for it is. The list of ingredients is listed underneath a glass with the cocktail, while the step-by-step instructions are put into cute bubbles that you’ll have to scroll through.

You may also use the cocktail finder where you can pick up to three ingredients to filter it all down. Alternatively, you can also visit the “cromococktails” tab and find a recipe that will give you the colored results you’re looking for.

Learn more about the trade

The other tabs on the home screen will guide you through the spirits you can use. Tapping on any of them will give you examples of what you can use them for and a short description.There’s also a list of glasses, once more with a description and a series of cocktails that it would best fit with. The bartender’s tools are also available, including the famous shakers.

This isn’t the most complicated app in the world, but it’s definitely a handy guide to being the best cocktail maker at the party or to becoming an experienced bartender if you want to switch careers or better yourself in the one you already have.
